Jack PixCuban-American DJ Flash blends a unique style of Hip Hop, Top 40, Latin House, Reggaeton and Dance. His passion for the art of DJing first came about when he began listening to the “Rhythm 98.3 FM in Cutler Ridge, Florida. Wanting to perfect his art and become successful in the music industry, DJ Flash graduated from Miami Coral Park Senior High School and went to NEC Bauder College in Fort Lauderdale to major in Radio & TV Broadcasting. During his 14 year stay at POWER 96, he went from Promotional Mixer, to over-night On-Air Mixer, and finally Hosting Parties such as Weddings and Quinces all over South Florida.

Being Of Hispanic Cuban decent, DJ Flash started his career as a “ROADIE” for Rhythm 98.3 FM in 1986 for the Legendary Chief Raymond Hernandez and the MAJESTIC SOUND DJs where he participated and learned the art of being a DJ/Mixer with more accolades to come in his career. After buying his first DJ setup, DJ Flash practiced and honed his skills persistently. His passion and perseverance proved to be worthwhile. He moved to POWER 96 as a Promotions Mixer while finishing school and earning an A.S. Degree in Broadcasting. Through the years at POWER 96, DJ Flash had the 12am-2am Mix Show on Saturday nights.  

After this success, DJ Flash was tapped by former Power 96 PD Frank Walsh in 2005 to host the 9PM Street Mix Show from9pm-10pm Mon-Fri for Clear Channel’s new station MEGA 94.9 FM in Miami which consisted of a mix of Reggaeton (Latin Reggae), Dance and Hip Hop. A musical combination that was unheard of at the time. Quickly, DJ Flash was considered one of the pioneers of what now is recognized in the general market as Latin Hip Hop of many Reggaeton artists. Due to its huge popularity it eventually turned into a 7 day 1 hour mix show where it became a success in the ratings for 2 years as the #1 Mix Show. While at MEGA 94.9 FM, DJ Flash was doing many shows such as the “Lunch Mix at Noon” with Chanel and “Rendezvous on the Lakes” which featured the 2 hour Live Broadcast with Felix Sama on Fridays. Among his other duties, DJ Flash was also the Promotions Coordinator with Clear Channel Miami.

In 2007, DJ Flash found an opportunity to expand his on-air talent and promotional skills a little further in Clear Channel West Palm Beach as its Asst. Promotions Director for WRLX Mia 92.1 FM. DJ Flash is currently doing remotes for the other stations in West Palm such as WILD 95.5 FM and REAL RADIO 94.3 FM each weekend for many satisfied clients such as Royal Palm Toyota, Braman Honda, Havana Restaurant and many others. In addition, he is a featured DJ/Mixer for Live Broadcasts with Mia 92.1 FM and WiLD 95.5 FM.
